Classes I to VI (Participants of second round)
Dear Parents
Greetings!
This is to apprise you that
your ward has qualified the first round of Punjab Mega Colour and Click contest 2024, organised by SIP Abacus, and has been selected for the 2nd round.
▪️The ROUND 2 for your ward is scheduled on 14th JULY, 2024 (Sunday) .
▪️The venue for the round 2 is- Hotel Stay well Dhakoli,
Victoria Floors, plot 4, Dhakoli.
▪️The winners have been given the appreciation certificate in the school today, however a few certificates have been kept back for correction, and shall be handed over soon.
▪️ The participants must carry their Admit Card, Colours, Card Board, Stationery and water bottle to the venue.
▪️One parent has to accompany the child to the venue.
▪️ Note : Be there 5 minutes before the scheduled time mentioned on the Admit Card.

Hope you and your ward had a wonderful Summer Vacation and now it’s time to be back to school.
Since the students of classes ( III to X and XII) will be having their PT-1 assessment scheduled in this month, very soon after resuming the school, kindly adhere to the following points:
Please make sure that your ward must read and understand the chapters of the PT- 1 syllabus thoroughly for the preparation of PT- 1 scheduled this time.
Do not let them miss the Revision Classes which will be held immediately after the school reopens w.e.f 04.07.24 (Thursday) to 08.07.24 (Monday).
These classes are very essential for the reviewing and understanding of the course content of PT- 1.
Additionally, please note that there is one misprint in the School planner regarding second Saturday of July.

Greetings!
This is to apprise you about the plan for International Yoga Day.
In accordance with the recent guidelines issued by the District Education Officer, Panchkula, Yoga Day will be commemorated over two days: Wednesday, 19.06.24, and Friday, 21.06.24, at the Parade Ground, Sector 5, Panchkula.
Selected students are required to report to the school at 5:20 am on both days.
The dispersal time will be communicated through the respective groups once the event concludes.
The dress code for students is a white t-shirt with black track bottoms.
The event will start at 5:45 am.
Parents are responsible for picking up and dropping off their children at the school premises.
Students must bring their water bottles on the event days.
Please provide consent for your ward’s participation to his/her class in-charge.

▪Students will come in proper regular GRÈY uniform with School I- card and no casual wears will be allowed.

This is for the information of the student subscribers (Classes VII to XII), of The Tribune newspaper that they will be going for the movie show of Maidaan (Hindi), in the Rajhans Theatre on Tuesday, 21.05.24.
▪The students will be going for the movie, during the regular school hours, i.e between 8:00 am to 12:00 noon.
▪Students will come in proper regular GRÈY uniform with School I- card and no casual wears will be allowed.

Corresponding to the overwhelming response of all the Super- moms aka the warriors, the School has planned to host the Mother’s day event on Friday, 10th May, 2024.
The flow of events is as follows:-
Timing for the participants of Poetry and Art to reach the school is- 9:00 AM.
For the Moms participating in the Art competition – only sheets shall be provided by the School, however, the rest of the material will be brought along by the participants themselves.
The topic for both the competitions shall be provided on the spot.
Non- participants will reach the School by 10:30 AM, as we plan to commence the event by 11:00 AM sharp.

This is to apprise you regarding the scheduled plans for the upcoming days ahead in the month of May, 2024.
Kindly record the dates:
▪We shall be holding Mother’s Day celebration in the school on Friday, 10.05.24, therefore the participating Super moms please gear up for the participation in the event.
Non-participant moms can also join us but they need to give their consent ASAP, informing their ward’s Class In- charge, before hand, so that the necessary arrangements can be made accordingly.
▪ However, Friday, 10.05.24 is a holiday for all the Classes Nursery Jr. to XII, on account of Sri Parsuram Jayanti.
▪Saturday, 11.05.24 will be a holiday for all the students on account of Second Saturday and a CBSE workshop for teachers in the school.
▪Due to the Lok Sabha elections, the PTM which was earlier scheduled for Saturday 25.05.24, is being preponed to third Saturday of the month i.e 18.05.24.

▪The motive behind this initiative is to create awareness regarding road safety amongst the masses.
▪The recorded session is available on the official youtube channel of SLA SCERT HR and on the channel ‘s repository as well.
Therefore, must ensure that you, along with your ward must watch the recording and should not miss the much required information.

▪️ Reporting time for Classes I to XII, for tomorrow is 10:00 am.
▪️ Reporting time for the Kindergarten students is- 11: 00 am.
▪️Transport students will reach their stops 2 hours later than their routine timing in the morning tomorrow.

This is to inform you that due to a strike by the Panchkula Private School Bus contractors on Monday, April 15th, 2024, Senior routes 1, 2, and 7, as well as Junior routes 2 and 7, will not be operational.
▪️Parents affected by the suspension of these routes are kindly requested to pick and drop their children to and from the school.
▪️School-owned buses will continue to operate on their designated routes.
▪️Despite the inconvenience, school will be working. Students are permitted to arrive late if necessary.

For Classes I to XII
Dear Parents
Greetings from Doon!
Since the new academic session 2024- 25, for the classes I to XII, commences w.e.f. tomorrow, 04.04.24 (Thursday),
Kindly take note of some important points:
▪️The school shall be following the summer school timings from tomorrow i.e.
For Classes III- X
8:00 am to 2:20 pm
For Classes I, II, XI & XII
8:00 am to 1:00 pm
▪️ REPORTING TIME FOR THE STUDENTS IS 7:50 a.m..
▪️Since the first day of the students shall be the general introductory day for their settling in with us, so they can carry a lighter School bag tomorrow, inclusive of just the basic utilities like a pen/pencil box, a rough notebook, a lunch box and a water bottle.
▪️The process of shuffling of students has been carried out in the classes VI, VII, VIII & IX on the basis of their Third language/Skill subject option.
Also due to excessive strength in some of the classes, sections have been increased and the students have further been divided accordingly.
Hence your cooperation is absolutely solicited as regards our decision on the shuffling of students, and no request applications, asking for the changes, will be entertained regarding this.
▪️As per the school policy, the School transport for the New Admission students & the Newly Transport Availing students shall ply w.e.f the afternoon tomorrow, i.e 04.04.24, after meeting the transport incharge and also fulfilling all the pre requisites.
The parents are therefore requested to drop their ward in the morning, tomorrow (04.04.24; Thursday), and they must also meet the transport incharges, Mrs. Prerna Sharma & Mr. Jagdeep, in the kindergarten wing of the school- Buds n Blooms, to get the necessary inputs regarding the transport.
▪️School transport for the old students shall ply as usual w.e.f the morning tomorrow (04.04.24).
▪️ Old Parents availing transport for their ward, must pay their transport maintenance charges by 11.04.24 (Thursday), if still pending.
▪️Those who have not filled the new transport maintenance forms, must fill it ASAP with the transport Incharge.

- The new Academic Session 2024-25, is going to commence w.e.f. April 4, 2024, Thursday, for the Classes I to XII.
- New Admission students of Nursery Junior, Nursery, LKG and UKG will come to the school on Monday, 8th April & Tuesday, 9th April, 2024, for two hours, for general interaction with the teachers. Kindly note that the school transport shall not ply on 8th & 9th April, 2024. Hence the pick/drop of the students will be managed by the parents. Timings for 8th & 9th April, 2024 shall be 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
- The new Academic Session 2024-25 of all the students in kindergarten will commence w.e.f. Thursday, April 11, 2024.
- The Session will open with the Regular Teaching-Learning classes for I to XII.
- The Book List pertaining to each of the classes from Jr. Nur to class XII is available on the School Website.
- The uniform pattern has to be followed strictly in accordance with the prescribed colour and pattern. The details are available on the School Website.
- Details of Monthly Composite Fee for the upcoming academic session 2024-2025 are available in the School
Accounts Office and on the School Website. - Last date to deposit the First Quarter Fee (April to June, 2024) is April 11, 2024 Thursday. Late fee fine @ Rs. 50/- per day shall be charged w.e.f 12 April 2024.
- The parents who are already availing the School transport facility for their wards and the ones who wish to avail it for their wards, shall fill the Transport Availing form and pay the Transport maintenance charges as per their location, (for the details, kindly contact the School Accounts Office). Also, kindly note that the Transport facility can only be availed after the submission of Transport Form as well as the Transport Maintenance Charges. For new students it shall start from the next day after completing all the formalities with the Accounts Office.
