School Curriculum
The term ‘Curriculum’ refer to the process of study in various academic subjects followed by students at  different levels of education. The School follows  the CBSE pattern of ‘Continuous and Comprehensive Evolution’   which takes care of assessment of all round development of the child’s personality. It includes assessment in Scholastic as well as Co- Scholastic aspect of pupil’s growth. Scholastic aspects include curricular  areas or subjects specific areas, whereas, co- scholastic aspect include Like Skills, Co- Curricular activates,attitudes, and values.


Nursery Section:-
The assessment of the Tiny- Tots is done 40% in the form or oral tests and 30% in the form of written tests which are conducted from time to time every month. The rest 30% assessment is based on their behavior inside and outside the classroom and on their performance in different activities/ competitions which are organized from time to time every month.


Primary, Middle & Secondary Section:-
To assess the students of classes I and ll four Formative Assessments in the form of oral as well as written tests are conducted in the whole year,equal weightage is given and the Grades are given on the 6 point Scale.

From Class III onwards examination system is introduced in the form of Summative Assessment. The whole year is divided into two terms. Each term contains two Formative Assessment and one Summative Assessment. The Formative Assessment are useful as it includes both feedback & self- monitoring . Summative Assessment measures and sums up how much a student has learned from the course/ content taught to him/her. Grades are given on the 8 Point Scale in Primary Section and 9 Point Scale in Middle and Secondary Section. Students are also assessed in the essential support subjects like Art & Craft, Music, Dance, life Skills, Moral Education & General Knowledge. In the Classes VI to VIII along with the main subjects, we give utmost importance to the third language. The students have the option between Sanskrit & Punjabi. And at Secondary level the  option is between Sanskrit and Hindi.

Doonites shine in Martial Arts Competitioh

Three students brought laurels to the School by winning Gold and Silver Medals in the First Open School & Club Tae-Kwan-Do Championship held at Sapling Public School, Pinjore. Swastik of Class VI bagged I Position, Aditya of Class VI and Pamalpreet of Class VII bagged II Position. 

Doonites All the way in District Level Competition

School made its presence felt with a bang in Haryana School tournaments 2015-2016. All the winner Qualified for the Zonal level event Under relay races it was all the way Doonites who  stole the show. They included Shristhi, Navroseinder, Sonal and Tejaswani. They stood second in the said event Under-14 event it was Shristhi who stood 2nd in 100m race. Sonal stood second in 800m race in Under-17 events and Navrosinder of class IX stood 3rd in 3000m race. It was a nail bitting event held at Tau-Devi Lal Stadium Where the thousands of students from the district had participated.

69th Independence Day Celebrations

School joined the whole nation in celebrating the 69th Independence Day. This was a day for all Indians to exhibit unity throughout the nation with happiness as it was the day to commemorate our Independence from the British Empire. Brig. Kiran Krishan, SM, graced the occasion with his benign presence. The Flag Hoisting ceremony ignited the spark of patriotism in each & every one present.There were many performances given by the students to make it a memorable day for all.The highlight of the program was the vision visualised by the YOUNGISTAN OF INDIA wherein they put forth a hard-hitting question-“Is the India of Today Better than Yesterday?” Their performance hoped for a better India where women are respected, devoid of all discrimination and a cleaner India.
