It was a proud moment for Doon Public School, Sector-21, Panchkula as it’s students once again brought laurels in various sports during the Interschool District Sports Meet 2019-20. In Table-Tennis competition held at Manav Mangal, Sector-11, Panchkula, the Under- 19 Boys team comprising of Ritesh Thakur, Abhishek K. Pandit and Dhruv Sharma won a Silver Medal; In Taekwondo competition, held at Tau Devi Lal Stadium, Ankush Rana won a Gold Medal for performing in Under- 17 Boys category while Anshul Kumar and Pamalpreet Kaur won a Silver Medal each performing in Under-17 &19 Girls category respectively. In Skating competition held at Bhavan Vidyalaya Sector-15, Harshvardhan won Silver Medals in both 1000 meter and 500 meter race in the Under- 14 Boys category. In Badminton competition, also held at Tau Devi Lal Stadium, the duo of Gunit Nakkra and Lakshay Sharma won a Silver Medal in under 14 Boys category. The Principal, Mrs. Sunita Anand, congratulated the winners and motivated the other students to participate whole heartedly in the upcoming sports events.

Doon Public School was delighted as it’s students once again brought laurels back home in the Inter-School Zonal Competition 2019-20 held at Tau Devi Lal Stadium, Sector-3, Panchkula. In Under 14 Boys category, Nirpesh Subedi of class VIII won two gold medals in Shot Put and Discus throw, and Puneet won a silver medal in 600 m race. In Under 17 Boys category, Saksham Bhatt of class IX won a gold medal in 200 m race; In Under 14 Girls category, Simran Dhankar of class VIII won a silver medal in 600 m race while Sonal Sheroan of class XII won 2 gold medals in 3000m and 200m race in - Under 19 Girls category. The Principal, Mrs. Sunita Anand expressed her happiness and congratulated her students and teachers for this glorious achievement.

Doon Public School,Sector-21,Panchkula was immensely proud having received certificate of recognition among the Top Schools of India Ranking 2018, presented by School Leadership Summit, Chandigarh. The Principal Mrs. Sunita Anand was obliged and honoured with the certificate, appreciating the school’s digital progress and for its excellence in promoting digital learning amongst the students. The School is known for upgrading itself with the smart technology which is used for imparting education and knowledge to the students in the classrooms to ensure affective comprehension of the concepts amid the students.

On the occasion of International Teacher’s Day, three teachers, Mrs Vandana Malik, Mrs Upasana Sharma and Mrs Kamal Gill were awarded by Sahodaya School Complex, Panchkula for their commitment to teaching and learning. The teachers felt extremely proud of their achievement and expressed their gratitude to the head of their institution for helping and supporting them through their journey.

Doonites brought laurels to the school by bagging various prizes at the competitions held in and around Panchkula. Ankita Bora and Kirti Bhat won the 2nd prize for ‘Book Critique’ and 3rd prize for ‘Mystery Couture’ at the ‘Inter School Lit Test 2018’ organised by St. Lawrence School, Sanawar. Rohtash Sharma got the 1st prize by exhibiting his skills by his creative presentation at the Diya Decoration Competition. Rohtash Sharma and Aditya got the 1st prize in the Quiz Competition by skill-fully answering the questions asked, Paraj Tiwari grabbed the 1st position in Solo Singing Competition by taking the audience to a state of trance with his magical voice and Sonal Sheoran got 3rd prize in an eloquence event, Meraki 2018, in the competition organised by DCCW.

The students participated in the ‘Fashionista – 2018’ competition, organised by Chandigarh Group of Colleges at Landran, and bagged first prize in their respective categories – Formal and Casual wear. The Jury of both, academic and professional participants selected their designs for their degree of innovation and aesthetic qualities. The students also won prizes in ‘on the spot’ competitions like ‘Food without fire’, ‘Quiz’ and ‘Speech’. The School received a trophy and cash prize of Rs 7500/- for standing second in ‘Fashionista – 2018’.

Ankush Rana and Yuvraj Singh made the school proud by getting selected for the 38th National Junior Taekwondo Championship to be held at J.N. Stadium, Chennai. It is being organised by TamilNadu Taekwondo Association in affiliation with Taekwondo Federation of India.

Doon Public School known for passion and commitment to teaching profession, once again has been ranked in three categories - ‘Best CBSE School’, ‘Best Green Building’, ‘Best Co-Curricular Activities’ in the Top School of India Ranking Survey 2018-19 conducted by Brainfeed School Excellence Awards 2018-19. It was a great moment for the entire Doon family for attaining excellence in growth and enhancement of School Education prioritizing the 21st Century demands of future leaders.

Doon Public School added another feather to it's sparkling cap of achievements by winning "The National Award for Excellence in Co-curricular Education" in an event organized by 'Scool Stars Awards'. The school was honoured for promoting the Co-curricular activities and for the commendable commitment in the field, for the year 2018-19.

Bisma Abbasi of class V brought laurels to the school by winning a scholarship of ₹35,000/- in the Hindustan Times Scholarship Programme 2018. She meticulously wrote on the topic- “Are we too dependent on internet and mobile phones ?” and was highly acclaimed for this.

Kirti Bhat of class IX brought laurels to the school by winning the Hindustan Times Scholarship Program 2017-18. She was awarded the Northern Region Hindustan Times Scholarship of Rs.25000/-, a scholarship certificate and a trophy at Indian School of Business, Mohali. She wrote an article on ‘Importance of Social Media in Today’s World’ and also faced an interview and emerged the winner.

Doonites shine again. Madhu of Class XII added another feather in the cap by winning bronze medal in CBSE National Taekwando Championship 2017 held at Delhi Public School, Kalinga.

The students brought laurels to the school by getting selected for state level dance competition organized by District Council for Child Welfare Foundation Panchkula.

It was a proud moment for the School, when the Principal Capt Sanjay Anand, SM was felicitated with Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Excellence Award for outstanding Individual Achievement and Distinguished Services to the Nation by Honorable Shri Shivraj V. Patil former speaker Lok Sabha, Union Home Minister and Governor of Punjab on Sunday October 15, 2017 at India International Center, New Delhi.

Students showed their talent with excellent performance, great interest and enthusiasm at the group/solo song and dance competition, organised by District Council for Child Welfare Foundation, Panchkula. They bagged first position in all the three competition. The participants put a beautiful melodious extra extravaganza and creatively displayed their grace, vigor and elegance.

Madhu, of class XII and Ankush Rana of class IX showed their worth at CBSE North, Zone II Taekwondo Championship by bagging the Gold and Bronze medals respectively.They gave tough fight to their opponents and showcased tremendous stability in various aspects of the game.

Bharat Vikas Parishad National Group Song Competition was organized at Bharat Vikas Parishad National Bhavan, Panchkula on 1 September, 2017. The Doon Public School, Sector-21, Panchkula contestants presented an inspiring Hindi and Sanskrit group song, commemorating their love for their nation and bagged first prize in both the categories, qualifying for the State Level Competition. The students portrayed their talent in an exquisite way, elevating every one’s heart and making all introspect their contribution towards their motherland .

Physical Education is a key component of education as it challenges students by providing opportunities to attain the skills and knowledge to be physically active as part of a healthy lifestyle. Keeping up with the tradition of ‘best foot forward’, Doonites, once again showed their skills at District Level Athletic Championship held at Tau Devi Lal Stadium, Sector-3, Panchkula, on 31 August, 2017 by giving a fantastic performance in the ‘Long Jump’ and ‘Triple Jump’ competitions. Samridhi Punj and Sonal Sheoran, both, class X students, qualified for the State Level Athletic Championship in ‘Long Jump’ and ‘Triple Jump’ respectively. This has further boosted the morale of the girls to work harder and aim for the best in the forthcoming State Level Championships.

Winning is a habit of the Doonites. They once again showed their worth at the District Level Sports Championship to prove that they are on the right track. Shuttler, Chirag of Class XII brought laurels to the school by coming II, in the District Level Badminton Championship in the Under-19 Category, held at Tau Devi Lal Stadium, Sector-3, Panchkula. In Taekwondo, Yuvraj of Class VI bagged II position in the Under 14 Category, Madhu of Class XII and Ankush of Class IX bagged I & II positions, respectively, in the Under-17 Category, in the District Level Taekwondo Championship, which was held at Hall Mark Public School, Sector-15, Panchkula. Brimming with confidence, all the winners look forward to returning with a better position at the State Level Championships.

The students participated in the Inter-School Science Model Making Competition, held at Army Public School, Chandimandir, on 19 August 2017. Kirti Bhat and Samridh Sharma of Class VIII, bagged the second position in the Junior Category and Tanvi Singh and Ratanjay of Class IX bagged the third position in the Senior Category. The students participated with full zeal and enthusiasm and exhibited environment friendly models like ‘Pollution Catcher’ and ‘Air Cleaner’, made out of waste material. The Principal, Capt Sanjay Anand, SM, patted the students for bringing laurels to the school which further boosted the morale of the students.

The Bhangra team which had taken part in State Level Dance Competition had been honoured by the Chief Minister of Haryana for standing second and had recieved the cash prizes. The Principal Capt. sanjay Anand,SM congratulated the winning team and handed over the cheque to the students.

Doonites brought laurels to the school by participating in Third Open Indian Taekwondo Championship. Madhu clinched gold medal in Junior Girls under 42 kg category. Under Cadet Boys category Akash Rana won gold and Yuvraj Singh won silver medal. Madhu was also selected for upcoming International Taekwondo Championship.The Principal Capt. sanjay Anand,SM congratulated the upcoming Taekwondo Champions.
